Blessed Gizella Archdiocese Collection – The Gizella Chapel
The 13th-century Byzantine-style frescos of the apostles in the bishop’s or royal private chapel of the earliest Gothic church in Hungary are among the oldest in the country. The keystones of the vaulting are also unique. The lower chapel is one of the finest examples of the Church art and architecture of the late Árpád Era.
